Fatal cases of gas poisoning

In September 2020, four 21-year-old girls, two of whom were twins, were found unconscious inside their vehicle after stopping to buy some food and rest at a parking lot of a petrol station in Seberang Prai near the North South Expressway (NSE).

The girls, who were from the same college, were said to have gone on an outing in Penang and on their way home to Sungai Petani, Kedah when they decided to take a break at the petrol station.
