Penang Customs seizes over 1 tonne of ecstasy pills stashed in compressors


BUTTERWORTH: The Customs Department has foiled an attempt to smuggle 1,063kg of ecstasy worth RM78mil hidden inside modified silent air compressors.

Customs director-general Datuk Zazuli Johan said the Penang Narcotics unit inspected a container filled with 20 compressors at the North Butterworth Container Terminal on May 6.
