Spirit of goodwill abounded at Sri Satria open house

PUTRAJAYA: The spirit of "muhibbah" abounded at the Aidilfitri open house held at the Deputy Prime Minister's official residence, Sri Satria, in Putrajaya on Sunday (April 30) night, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"So many people of various races came to enliven the festive celebration with the YAB Deputy Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi) alongside special invited guests including the highest leadership of Umno and Barisan Nasional as well as senior government officials," he said in a post on his Facebook page.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also attended the Aidilfitri celebration held at Sri Satria, here.

On his arrival at 6.20pm, Anwar was greeted by Ahmad zahid who is also the Rural and Regional Development Minister and his wife Datin Seri Hamidah Khamis.

The session for distinguished guests and special invitations that started at 4pm was also attended by Cabinet members including Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

Johor, Melaka and Pahang chief ministers, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh and Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail were also in attendance.

Members of the public were also invited to attend starting at 8pm until 11pm.
