Musa Hitam recovering after brain surgery


PETALING JAYA: Former deputy prime minister Tun Musa Hitam underwent brain surgery after falling while gardening, just before Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Tan Sri Nazir Razak, posted a picture of himself and Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, together with Musa after the latter’s operation in an Instagram post.

According to him, Musa was recovering and was able to make jokes.

"He spent his 89th birthday on the operating table. By all accounts, his recovery process has been miraculous so far,” Nazir said on Tuesday (April 25).

"Let us all hope for his full recovery, so he can get back to playing golf and other activities," he added.
