Motorist fined RM500 for littering from 4WD in Sibu


SIBU: A motorist has been fined RM500 by the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) after a video of him throwing rubbish from his four-wheel drive vehicle went viral.

The man was called to the council office on Sunday (April 9) where chairman Clarence Ting and his deputy, Mohammed Abdullah Izkandar Rosely together with enforcement officers were waiting for him.
