Mohd Khalid Ismail appointed new Bukit Aman Special Branch director


KUALA LUMPUR: Comm Datuk Mohd Khalid Ismail will be the next Bukit Aman Special Branch director.

Police secretary Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin said in a statement Friday (April 7) that Comm Mohd Khalid, who is currently the Special Branch deputy director, would take over from Special Branch director Comm Datuk Baharuddin Ahmad.

"Effective May 8, Comm Baharuddin will be National Security deputy director-general (strategic communications) at the National Security Council.”

She said Comm Mohd Khalid's promotion as director comes with the VU5 (Jusa A) grade.
