A MAN has vowed to take care of his 74-year-old mother-in-law after his wife died in an accident along Jalan Pekan-Rompin, Pahang, reported Sinar Harian.
Sheikh Hamazon Sheikh Hasnan, 54, loves his mother-in-law Jemilah Awang Ngah dearly and considers her like his own mother.
“During the past week, my wife hugged me more often than usual. I thought nothing of it.
“Before the accident on Monday, she hugged me again to say goodbye before she drove out. The thought of hugging her for the last time did not cross my mind,” he said at the Pekan Hospital.
Hamazon said he received a call on Monday morning informing him that his wife was killed in a collision with a trailer.
“I fully accept the circumstances of the accident and leave it to authorities to find out the cause behind it,” he said.
