PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong wishes a blessed Qing Ming to those celebrating the festival.
The MCA president said Qing Ming is a meaningful time for the Chinese community to get together with relatives and pay respects to ancestors and deceased family members.
"Happy Qing Ming to everyone celebrating this day," he said on Facebook on Wednesday (April 5).
"I was able to spend time with my family and we paid our respects to our departed loved ones at a cemetery."
Qing Ming, also known as Tomb Sweeping Day, is an ancient Chinese tradition where families clean grave sites to commemorate their ancestors.
The occasion is usually observed as early as 10 days before or after the actual date.
