Four siblings killed in Muar fire laid to rest at Bakri's 6th Mile Muslim Cemetery


MUAR: The remains of the four siblings killed in a fire at Kampung Sabak Awor here on Wednesday (March 29) were laid to rest at the 6th Mile Muslim Cemetry in Bakri here on Thursday (March 30) night.

The bodies of Puteri Aisyah Tenko To, eight, Mohd Hakim, six, Mustakim, four, and Fatihah Aisyah, three, were buried in a single grave at 8.15pm Thursday.

Their parents Nabila Sedu, 31, and Thein Ko Htut, 30, were also present and were distraught.

Earlier, the funeral prayers were performed at the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital (HPSF) and attended by family members and close relatives before their bodies were taken to the cemetery for burial.

On Wednesday, all four children were found dead inside the bathroom after their rented home caught fire. - Bernama
