Businessman wins BSN's millionaire draw

PETALING JAYA: A furniture business owner from Kuala Lumpur has won the second Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) RM1mil Premium Savings Certificate (SSP) draw of the year.

"The second BSN SSP 2023 millionaire is a 56-year-old that hails from Kuala Lumpur and runs a furniture business in Negri Sembilan. He has saved consistently with the BSN SSP since 1992 and has won several categories in the past," BSN said in a statement on Friday (March 24).

It added that as of January 2023, BSN had recorded almost RM5bil in BSN SSP savings.

"BSN will continue to be committed to improving the BSN SSP product from time to time in order to keep it competitive. This effort is to encourage Malaysians, especially the youths, to save," it added.

BSN has introduced a monthly millionaire draw in 2023, where winners will be able to win a total of RM1mil in their SSP. In December, the winner would also stand to win a BMW X5.
