Lorry driver rescued from wreckage in Puchong accident


PETALING JAYA: A lorry driver survived an accident that saw his vehicle smashed front-first into a road divider.

When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Morni Mamat said the accident occurred in Taman Sri Puchong on Thursday (March 23) morning.

"The 57-year-old driver was stuck in the driver seat and was successfully rescued in eight minutes after firefighters used a rescue cutter tool. He has been sent to the Serdang Hospital for treatment," he said.
