Umno polls: Ahmad Maslan wins Pontian division chief post


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan has won the Pontian Umno division chief post, unseating former Johor mentri besar Datuk Seri Hasni Mohamad.

Ahmad, who is Deputy Finance Minister and Umno secretary-general won the post with a 95 vote majority against Hasni.

Hasni, 63, had held the post of Pontian Umno chief for 22 years.
