Fire at Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar’s pharmacy department, no injuries reported


PETALING JAYA: The Negri Sembilan Health Department has confirmed that a fire broke out in the pharmacy department of Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar in Seremban on Thursday (March 16).

State Health director Datuk Dr Harlina Abdul Rashid said the hospital's staff members and rescue team acted quickly to put out the fire which occurred at around 4.05pm while waiting for the Rahang Fire and Rescue Department to arrive.

"The Fire and Rescue team successfully put out the fire in a short time and no injuries were reported among the staff during the incident," she said in a statement.

Investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
