PETALING JAYA: Hannah Yeoh has paid tribute to Malaysia's first Oscar winner, Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh.
"Most inspiring quote for all of us ladies: 'Ladies, don’t let anybody ever tell you that you are past your prime' – Michelle Yeoh" the Youth and Sports Minister said in a Facebook post on Monday (March 13).
Hannah also shared photos of herself celebrating the historic win with Michelle's family.
She had joined Michelle's mother, Datin Janet Yeoh and Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri at a live viewing of the awards ceremony at Dadi Cinema in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
During the announcement, all three were seen celebrating ecstatically as the feed showed Michelle making history as the first Asian to win the Best Actress category for the film "Everything Everywhere All at Once".
