Nazif Najib concedes defeat in contest for Umno Youth deputy chief

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Nazif Najib has conceded defeat after failing to win Umno Youth deputy chief post.

Nazif said he accepted the results and would continue to fight for the party, urging other members to do the same.

Meanwhile, his sister Nooryana has been elected as a Umno Puteri exco member and won uncontested for the Lembah Pantai Puteri division chief post.

Official results will only be announced by election committee chairman Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad once all votes are tallied and tabulated.
