Women play vital role, says Wee

PETALING JAYA: Women have been pivotal in driving the country’s development and socio-economy, says MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The world is a much more “wonderful place” with the presence of women and the significant role they play, he said in a Facebook post to mark International Women’s Day.

He paid tribute to women, saying that they had not allowed anything limit their achievements.

“Thank you for always being our inspiration when you break the glass ceiling with courage and boldness,” he said.
