Cops: Probe paper opened on viral videos of man resembling former IGP Musa Hassan

PETALING JAYA: Police have opened an investigation paper on three viral videos showing a man resembling former inspector-general of police Tan Sri Musa Hassan arguing with a woman.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said police will refer the investigation paper to the deputy public prosecutor once the investigation concludes.

"We received a report about the case and opened an investigation paper," he was quoted as saying by Astro Awani.

The viral videos uploaded on Twitter on Wednesday (March 8), running 9sec, 10sec and 56sec, show a man resembling Musa arguing with a woman in front of a child.

Following that, Musa appealed to the people to respect his privacy and said legal action would be taken against anyone who speculates on the matter.
