Floods: Clearer skies see evacuees in Selangor, Negri allowed to return home


JOHOR BARU: Clearer skies have resulted in the improvement of the flood situation in most of the affected states with victims in relief centres in Negri Sembilan and Selangor all allowed to return home, says the Fire and Rescue Department.

Its deputy director-general (operations) Datuk Edwin Galan Teruki said that at the moment the number of flood victims still remains over 50,000 in Johor, Pahang and Melaka.
