AI is watching: 500 advanced cameras to be placed around Iskandar Puteri, says mayor


ISKANDAR PUTERI: A total of 500 artificial intelligence-enabled closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras will be placed around the Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) area as part of the government's effort to establish a smart city.

MBIP mayor Datuk Mohd Haffiz Ahmad (pic) said the cameras would be placed in public areas and hotspots by local developers as part of the council’s public-private partnership.
