Actor took a month to copy Anwar

FARID Kamil, who plays Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in an upcoming biopic about the Prime Minister, said it took him an entire month to copy the way Anwar raised his hand after he was brought to court in 1998.

Sinar Harian reported that Farid spent time practising getting the right position when raising the hand, as seen in the movie poster.

He also met up with Anwar three times before Parliament was dissolved last October, so that he could grasp Anwar’s situation better.Farid, 42, also spoke about reading up on Anwar’s medical report.

Anwar, The Untold Story, is expected to hit cinemas in May.

> Actress Fasha Sandha was rushed to a hospital in Johor Baru on Wednesday after injuring her left eye while shooting a TV drama, Sinar Harian reported.

Fasha, 39, fell onto the edge of a bedframe and fractured her left orbital bone.

“She is being treated in a specialist hospital and is getting some much-needed rest.

“We ask that fans and family pray that she’ll recover well. As everybody knows, Fasha is a strong person and is committed to her career,” her representatives posted on Instagram.
