Najib, Arul to know fate today

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here will decide today whether to call former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and former 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy to enter their defence or free them in the company’s audit report tampering trial.

Justice Mohamed Zaini Mazlan, who is now a Court of Appeal judge, will return to the High Court to deliver his decision at the end of the prosecution’s case against the two men at 9am.
