PETALING JAYA: Cancelling projects worth billions of ringgit awarded through direct negotiations is a good example of how better procurement can reduce leakages, says a don.
“The Jana Wibawa projects are a good example of how better procurement can reduce leakages and deliver more from the development budget. So this should be extended to all development projects because similar savings can be made across the board,” said Prof Geoffrey Williams of Malaysia University of Science and Technology.
