On-call hours, exploitation of doctors among topics discussed at town hall meet


PETALING JAYA: Regulated on-call hours, higher on-call claims and exploitation were among the issues raised in the town hall between doctors and Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa on Wednesday (Feb 22).

According to the Malaysian Medical Association's (MMA) presentation slides sighted by The Star, the association is proposing for the on-call claim rate to be increased to RM25/hour from the current RM9/per hour.
