No double standards in efforts to curb social media misuse, says Comms Ministry

KUALA LUMPUR: There are no double standards or favouritism in the government’s efforts to curb social media misuse, says the Communications and Digital Ministry.

The ministry said, in a written reply published on the Parliament website Monday (Feb 20), that the government was committed to ensure suitable action is taken against individuals or parties, regardless of background and political creed, if they were found to have committed an offence.
