AFTER rumours surfaced of her boyfriend cheating on her, Malaysian singer Jess Lee Kar Wei (pic) confirmed that she is now single, according to Sin Chew Daily.
Taiwanese tabloids earlier reported that the 35-year-old had lost 8kg after breaking up with her boyfriend.
Even so, Lee, who is from Seremban, did not badmouth her former paramour.
“I am proud to say I am well! I have not been pacing around a precipice and I am working hard to let go of this burden and live with joy!” she wrote on Facebook.
Lee admitted that she did not expect her love life to become front-page fodder for tabloids.
“Thank you, members of the media, for all your help. Let’s also help to find me new love!
Lee and her ex-boyfriend, who is five years younger than her, reportedly dated for more than four years.

> Taiwanese model Wu Shuling, once married to Malaysian singer Gary Chaw, said they had an amicable division of their matrimonial assets following their divorce last November, China Press also reported.
The 43-year-old mother of two held a candid presser recently, where, for the first time, she addressed questions on the divorce.
“For me, it was just a stage in my life. I do not think of it as me being hurt. Maybe it is fated. I have tried my best, and he has tried his best.
Wu said they had no issues dividing their assets after their split.
Their marital home was returned to Chaw, she said, adding that she bought her own house on a secluded hillside in Tianmu, Taipei.
Chaw continues to pay for childcare, she said.
Asked if she looked forward to starting a new relationship, Wu replied: “I’m already 43 and I can’t afford to fail (in love) again! I need to get my life back on track first.”
