Drugs seized, 12 foreign women arrested in anti-vice raid


KUALA LUMPUR: An anti-vice operation led to over RM10,000 worth of drugs seized after an entertainment outlet here was raided by the police.

In a statement, Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said that the raid was conducted at 1.15am Monday (Feb 6) at Jalan Kuchai Lama.

"Checks at one of the rooms there led to the discovery of 14.77 litres of MDMA () liquid, 441.6g of MDMA and 7.6g of ketamine," he said.

A total of 18 people were arrested, including 12 foreign women.

Drug tests were conducted on the suspects, with 16 testing positive for methamphetamine.

All 18 have been remanded for four to seven days.

ACP Amihizan added that in total, RM13,810 in drugs were seized by the police.
