Man sentenced to three years jail for sexual assault of a minor

SIBU: A man has been sentenced to three years jail and two strokes of the rotan by the Sessions Court on Wednesday (Feb 1) after he pleaded guilty for sexual assault against a young girl.

Judge Marutin Pagan also ordered that the accused, aged 36, to attend counselling while serving the sentence.
