Covid-19 Watch: 251 new cases bring total to 5,036,593


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 251 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (Jan 31), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, all of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions with no imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,036,593 cases since the pandemic began.

No deaths due to Covid-19 were recorded on Tuesday leaving the total number deaths at 36,942.
