Covid-19 Watch: 202 new cases bring total to 5,036,342


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 202 new Covid-19 cases on Monday (Jan 30), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 198 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 4 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 5,036,342 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 2 deaths were recorded on Monday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,942.
