Body found floating near construction site in Dengkil

SEPANG: The body of an unidentified man was found floating in a former mining pool in Dengkil.

Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof, when contacted, said that the body was found near a construction site on Tuesday (Jan 24).

"We believe that the deceased is a foreigner due to the absence of a BCG mark on his arm," he said.

The discovery was made by a member of the public after spotting the floating body while fishing.

A forensics team was deployed to the scene but no criminal elements were found.

Checks around the area showed no possible vehicles could have been used by the deceased.

"It is believed that the man had died around three days ago based on the bloated body and condition. A postmortem will be conducted.

"The case has been classified as sudden death," he said.
