Bangsar shop house 30% razed in Jan 24 morning fire

KUALA LUMPUR: A shophouse in Bangsar was damaged in a morning blaze on Tuesday (Jan 24).

In a statement Tuesday, the City Fire and Rescue Department said that firemen were dispatched to the scene at Jalan Maarof after receiving a call at 10.10am.

The fire destroyed 30% of the single-storey shop house.

"No victims were involved and the cause of the fire is still under investigation," it said.
