Murut natives want Sabah CM to help save native land


Clear felling at a forest management unit area in Sabah's interior Nabawan area is raising concerns with native Muruts that it is infringe their customary rights to their livelihood from the land.

KOTA KINABALU: For over eight generations, Basusah Anturi's family has lived in Kampung Balantos in Sabah's interior Nabawan district.

However, they now face eviction from their traditional land which has been given to a company charged with carrying out sustainable forest management.
