PETALING JAYA: Budget 2023 should be revised to better support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) which comprise 98% of local firms, say academics.
While going digital is the way forward, they said MSMEs should be classified more specifically according to revenue or paid-up capital, so that targeted assistance can be designed accurately.
