Batang Kali landslide: SAR enters seventh day, seven still missing


HULU SELANGOR: The search and rescue (SAR) mission at the Father's Organic Farm site enters its seventh day on Thursday (Dec 22) with seven victims still missing.

The operation began at 8am involving various agencies, including the Fire and Rescue Department, the police and the Armed Forces.

More than 15 media personnel are gathered at the operation centre, waiting for the latest developments at the disaster site.

As of 9.30am, the weather at Father's Organic Farm is cloudy.

Authorities are also using K9 tracking dogs and the police drone unit to search for the remaining victims.

So far, 26 victims who were killed in the landslide have been discovered. The search is still on for the remaining seven victims.
