Batang Kali landslide: Bodies of four family members from Machap Umboo identified


ALOR GAJAH: Four members of a family from Machap Umboo here who were killed in a tragic landslide at the Father’s Organic Farm, Gohtong Jaya near Batang Kali, Selangor, have been identified, says Alor Gajah police.

Alor Gajah OCPD Supt Arshad Abu said the news on the bodies found during the search and rescue (SAR) operation was extended to the police by family members on Wednesday (Dec 21).

"The bodies will be brought back here on Thursday (Dec 22) for the funeral arrangements," he said on Wednesday.

With this, the total number of confirmed deaths is 26, with seven victims still unaccounted for.
