Queen visits landslide site


HULU SELANGOR: Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah called for patience during a visit to the landslide site at Father’s Organic Farm.

Tunku Azizah arrived at around 4.30pm with her daughter Tengku Puteri Raja Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafizatullah, where she was met by Chief Secretary to the government of Malaysia Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani and Fire and Rescue Department director-general Datuk Seri Hamdan Wahid.

Her Majesty was briefed on the search and rescue (SAR) operations for about 30 minutes at the police operations centre at the scene.

Tunku Azizah told the media that the SAR team was doing its best to find the remaining victims.

“I hope everyone is patient,” Her Majesty said.
