SEREMBAN: The Jalan Tampin-Kuala Pilah-Manchis route has been closed to traffic indefinitely after a slope along the stretch collapsed, says the Public Works Department.

The PWD in a statement said the route was closed just before noon today (Dec 9).

A section of the road gave way after the slope collapsed due to heavy rainfall in recent days.

Motorists have been advised to use an alternative route via Jalan Ulu Keru-Air Mawang to get to their destinations.

"Motorists are advised to strictly adhere to all road and traffic signs along the route to ensure they have a smooth and safe journey," it added.
