The Children’s Carnival @ Popular campaign is part of its corporate social responsibility initiative to build a better future for young people and cultivate a love for reading in Malaysian.
This campaign is held until Dec 31 at all Popular and Harris bookstores in Malaysia.
Throughout this campaign, a total of 10% sales will be donated to help and protect underprivileged children in Malaysia to overcome hunger, poverty as well as lack of medication and education.
Among its beneficiaries are Agathians Shelter, Dignity for Children Foundation, UNICEF, World Vision and many more. These non-governmental organisations are known to provide holistic care for marginalised children.
Furthermore, shoppers will get to enjoy a 10% rebate on selected English and Malay children’s books while shopping for a cause. Big or small, there is always something the public can do to make things better for children.
