Man goes missing while hiking with friends in Bukit Durian


PAGOH: A man was reported missing while hiking with friends in Bukit Durian Batu 10 here on Thursday (Nov 24).

Pagoh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Operations Commander Assistant Fire Superintendent Mohd Fadli Ismail said the station received a call about the incident at 12.59am early Friday (Nov 25).

Following which, he said, an 11-member team from the Pagoh BBP together with a Light Fire Rescue Tender (LFRT) vehicle were immediately deployed to the location.

He said Goh Sang Seng, 56, went missing while doing climbing activities with about 20 friends at about 6pm.

The friends searched for him in the area and called the fire station after failing to find him, he said in a statement today. - Bernama
