GE15: Azmin Ali casts ballot at same polling centre as brother Azwan


GOMBAK: Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali has turned up at the SK Klang Gate polling centre along with his wife Datin Seri Shamshida Taharin to vote in the 15th General Election (GE15) on Saturday (Nov 19).

Azmin - the three-term Gombak MP - was in good spirits as many whipped out their smartphones to snap and post photos of the moment to their social media accounts.

He also spoke to his aunt Che Bee Yahaya before joining the queue and spoke to childhood friends in the area after leaving the polling centre.

This comes after Azmin's brother Azwan Ali - better known as Diva AA - showed up at the same polling station at 7.35am and voted at 8.10am

The International Trade and Industry Minister is being challenged by Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari (PH-PKR), Gombak Barisan Nasional-Umno chief Datuk Megat Zulkarnain Omardin, Gerakan Tanah Air’s Datuk Dr Aziz Jamaludin Mhd Tahir and independent candidate Zulkifli Ahmad, a retired engineer from the Public Works Department, Kuala Lumpur.
