JOHOR BARU: With nomination day just two days away, the Election Commission (EC) has sold more than 300 nomination forms to candidates vying for the 26 parliamentary seats in Johor.
It is learnt that the EC sold a total of 317 nomination forms to at least 15 political parties and 33 Independent candidates as of Thursday (Nov 3).
The most number of nomination forms purchased were from Perikatan Nasional, which bought a total of 87 forms so far.
Pakatan Harapan bought 80 forms, Barisan Nasional (63) and Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) (43).
Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (Muda) and Parti Warisan bought one nomination paper each.
Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) bought seven and Parti Rakyat Malaysia purchased two.
