PETALING JAYA: Malaysia detected 1,737 new Covid-19 infections on Monday (Oct 24), bringing the total number of cases in the country to 4,883,796 since the pandemic began.
The Health Ministry's KKMNow portal reported that 1,736 of Monday's new Covid-19 cases were locally transmitted while there was one imported infection.
