PETALING JAYA: Malaysia detected 2,618 new Covid-19 infections on Saturday (Oct 22), bringing the total number of cases in the country to 4,880,005 since the pandemic began.
The Health Ministry's KKMNow portal reported that 2,611 cases were locally transmitted while there were seven imported cases.
