Kiulu folk to adopt native 'tagal' system for forest preservation

KOTA KINABALU: People in the Kiulu district are planning to adopt a "tagal" system to preserve the flora and fauna in local forests.

The tagal system, which is a native practice, limits entry to as well as the amount of activities that can be done in specified areas.
