Covid-19 Watch: 1,873 new cases bring total to 4,870,275


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia recorded 1,873 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (Oct 18), says the Health Ministry.

According to the ministry's KKMNow portal, 1,869 of the new Covid-19 infections in the country were local transmissions, while there were 4 imported cases.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 4,870,275 cases since the pandemic began.

A total of 3 deaths were recorded on Tuesday with no cases of brought in dead, bringing the total to 36,426.
