PETALING JAYA: Malaysia detected 1,453 new Covid-19 infections on Sunday (Oct 9), bringing the total number of cases in the country to 4,854,976 since the pandemic began.
The Health Ministry's KKMNow portal reported that there were 1,445 local transmissions and eight imported infections.
