Requirements for Customs declaration practised globally


PETALING JAYA: As Malaysia resumes the requirement to have both inbound and outbound travellers fill up a Customs declaration form, it is worth noting that the practice is also adopted by countries both within and outside the South East-Asia region.

In Thailand, the submission of the Import Declaration form is only required for situations outside of “Case 1 and Case 2”, as stated on the Thai Customs website.
