Socso CEO hails move to include gig workers too


PETALING JAYA: Millions are still not covered by Socso and are vulnerable to work accidents, making it necessary for gig workers to have such social security coverage.

Socso chief executive officer Datuk Seri Dr Mohammed Azman Aziz Mohammed said he welcomed the move by the government in Budget 2023 to provide 80% coverage for these gig workers.
