MAF veterans feel shortchanged with no special allocation for them

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) veterans were expecting more than what was announced during the tabling of Budget 2023. Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association president Kapt (Rtd) Datuk Sharuddin Omar says nothing special was announced for the veterans.

“I feel that the Budget is acceptable for Malaysian citizens in general but they (the government) have overlooked veterans’ issues.
