Budget 2023: RM100 ewallet credit to be given to M40 Malaysians


PETALING JAYA: Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz says that RM100 in ewallet credit will be allocated for M40 Malaysians under Budget 2023.

While tabling the Budget, the Finance Minister said that RM800mil has been allocated for the ewallet credit that is expected to benefit eight million people.

He also announced that youths aged between 18 and 20 years old, and full-time students above 21 years old, would receive RM200 in ewallet credit under the ePemula initiative.

Tengku Zafrul said RM400mil has been allocated for this and it is expected to benefit some two million youths.

Meanwhile, he also said the Pakej Remaja Keluarga Malaysia initiative offering 20GB Internet data packages prices at RM30 for three months to students and youths will be extended until April 2023.
